Denmark Road High School Drama Studio, MI Room & Accessible WC

Scope of Works

Falcon delivered floor finish upgrades across the drama studio support spaces, MI room, accessible WC, reception area, and circulation corridor. Works included subfloor preparation with primer and latex screed, installation of carpet tiles to reception and circulation zones, and sheet vinyl installation to wet areas with cap-and-cove skirtings and hot-welded seams for hygiene and durability.

Technical Challenges & Solutions

• - Programme sequencing required all subfloor preparation to be completed on day one to enable sheet vinyl installation within the compressed two-day window.
• - Wet-area detailing required precise cap-and-cove formation and welded seam execution to achieve compliant hygiene standards.
• - Multiple finish interfaces across education spaces required accurate set-out and clean transitions between vinyl and carpet tile systems.

The Results

The package was completed to programme and handed over to a high standard, with positive contractor feedback on installation quality. The upgraded areas now provide durable, compliant, and consistent finishes suited to high-traffic school use.
