The White Horse Leamington Spa Refurbishment

Scope of Works

Falcon delivered the full flooring package for The White Horse refurbishment, including two-coat DPM, 3 mm smoothing screed, and installation of Altro safety flooring, feature vinyl planks, premium carpet finishes, and entrance matting systems. Works were completed alongside multiple live fit-out trades with coordinated sequencing to maintain programme and quality.

Technical Challenges & Solutions

• - Several work zones were restricted by concurrent trades, requiring daily resequencing with site management to keep milestones intact.
• - Material coordination was controlled to align free-issue carpet delivery with installation windows and prevent programme slippage.
• - Kitchen and back-of-house areas required full Cap & Cove, hot-welded hygiene detailing, and durable transition integration across mixed flooring systems.

The Results

The White Horse flooring package was completed on programme, to budget, and to specification with no defects at handover. The completed environment combines improved visual quality with hospitality-grade durability and slip performance suitable for high-footfall operation.
